The James Island PSD contractor, Anson Construction, will be going door to door this week informing residents along Dills Bluff Road that construction is scheduled to begin next week (Feb. 9-13) as part of the District’s Pump Station #11 wastewater project. Although pipe installation will be accomplished by horizontal directional drilling, residents may experience periodic, signal controlled northbound lane closures and heavy equipment moving in and out of the area during this time.
If unable to make direct contact with a resident, a yellow door hanger will be left explaining the project, process, estimated completion time and the JIPSD phone number (795-9060) for questions or concerns.
The JIPSD staff will keep detailed records of any complaints so that they are addressed quickly and responsively by themselves and/or the contractor.
