Marilyn Clifford: Candidate for JIPSD Commissioner



Marilyn Clifford is a life long resident of James Island.  She lives in the Town of James Island in the Centerville neighborhood.   She represents Centerville on the Town's Neighborhood Council.
 
Marilyn graduated Cum Laude from Southern Wesleyan University with a Degree of Bachelor of Science with the emphasis on Business. She has an Associates Degree in Public Service from Trident Technical College where she was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She is a graduate of James Island High School, Class of 1988.  She also attended Nativity School on Folly Road, James Island Middle School, and Fort Johnson Middle School. 
 
Marilyn is the Senior Paralegal for Trial Attorney John L. Drennan of the Drennan Law Firm and she was a Paralegal for Reese I. Joye of the Joye Law Firm where she worked for 18 years.
 
Marilyn is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of the American Legion, James Island, Post 147 and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, James Island Post 445. She was also a member of the Navy League.  She volunteers to sing the National Anthem for area American Legion and VFW Posts on Patriotic Holidays as well as to sing for our fallen heroes at their life celebration services.
