Request for Proposals: Landscape Services
The Town of James Island is requesting proposals to
provide on-call landscaping services and some regular landscape maintenance
services on various Parks and Recreation properties owned by the Town and
Right-of-Way areas controlled by the Town. Services will include grass cutting,
tree trimming and removal, shrubbery trimming, vegetation clearing and
decorative/ornamental plantings. It is the intent of the Town of James Island to
bring its property and Rights-of-Way under its control to a clean and attractive
state for the enjoyment of the public. The Landscape Contractor will provide all
tools, equipment, labor, services and skills necessary for this type of work.
Plant material work may include watering, fertilizing and debris removal. All
Right-of-Way work shall include removal of trimmings and other debris.
The contract will run for 12 months with the option
of the Town to extend for another 12 months at the sole discretion of the Town
of James Island. The nature of the work is on-call at present and is anticipated
to increase to maintenance of properties and Right-of-Way.
